Conference pays attention to profitability

meridian — Profitability. It’s the single most important challenge to running a business.

The Congressman Chip Pickering Business and Conference Trade Show, set for Friday, May 15 will illustrate how vital profitability is. The day-long event, which begins at 8:30 a.m. with a welcome from Meridian Mayor John Robert Smith and Pickering, also serves as a networking forum, said Joe Wilkerson, director of the East Central Contract Procurement Center.

This annual business event is sponsored by Meridian Community College’s WEBB Center, the East Central Procurement Center, Mississippi State University-Meridian and the Mississippi Department of Economic and Community Development.
