I`m not much of a newspaper reader. We only take The Clarion-Ledger on weekends. The MBJ under your leadership has changed my habits. I look forward to your editorials and your fresh view. I think your being an accountant/journalist is a tremendous asset to us.
I have thought about the tax issue quite a bit and I have come to agree with you 100%. You were right on to say regardless of how we do it we still have to pay taxes! Your proposal for a flat tax requires much reflection. Our little church is supported by a small number of committed people. Those people and my family will give regardless of tax implications. I am familiar with Gateway Rescue Mission and their constant trusting in God to provide the needed resources. God hasn
