An article in The Clarion-Ledger last week caught my eye and inspired this column. The editorial piece was written by Charley Reese, a syndicated columnist from the Orlando Sentinel. Mr. Reese`s writings are either loved or hated by readers, depending on your political persuasion.
The column itself centered on Mr. Reese`s suggestion that we should discontinue public education. I didn`t and don’t understand his reasoning, and I will pursue that matter no further.
