I know I`m showing my age when I say that I can remember the old black rotary-dial telephones that were the standard in everyone`s home when I was growing up. You could have any color you wanted, as long as it was black, and you leased them from “the phone company” (there was only one phone company back then). It`s hard to believe how excited people got when you could buy your own phone and choose which color you wanted.
