Women-owned businesses worth $11 billion to Mississippi economy

A recent national survey shows a significant number of women-owned firms sell products and services to government agencies. But women business owners are less likely than men-owned firms to sell to large corporations. Businesses owned by minority women are gaining ground, according to the National Foundation for Women Business Owners.
