SkyTel stays busy with new products and services

Jackson-based SkyTel, an international leader in wireless messaging, has been introducing so many products and perks for its customers lately that it`s easy to get lost in the blizzard of press releases.

“Everything we`re offering is to provide more value to our customers so they can`t possibly say no,” said Scott Hamilton, vice president of investor relations. “In 1999, we`ll be introducing a whole new set of consolidated messaging products where you can physically give a notification that you have a voice mail on your office, home or cellular phone. With caller ID, you`ll be able to tell who left you the voice mail and whether it`s urgent or not.”
