Three insurers in rehab

Mississippi Insurance Commissioner George Dale has placed three life insurance companies in Mississippi in rehabilitation due to financial irregularities. The three firms are Franklin Protective Life Company, Family Guaranty Life Insurance Company and First National Life Insurance Company of America. The three are now under administrative supervision.

“The companies are not in liquidation at this time. Every effort will be made to salvage the companies’ existing structure and find a potential buyer for them,” Dale said.
