After months of campaigning and millions of dollars spent on radio, TV and signs of every shape and size, it looks like the big races in this year’s general election will be decided by who votes and who doesn’t.
Turnout is critical. And that is why you matter. There is no excuse for not voting Nov. 2.
Mississippi businesses should do everything possible to encourage their employees to get out and vote. Let them come in late, have a long lunch or leave early, but let them vote.
It’s easy for political races to be trivialized in these overly cynical times, but this election does matter.
Think about it and then vote. The polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
