Showcase brings corporate solutions to IT community

The Computer & Technology Showcase and Internet Expo at the Mississippi Trade Mart in Jackson Aug. 30-31 is designed for information technology professionals, executives and corporate decision makers. Show times are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Powerful IT products, solutions and strategies that keep companies on the cutting edge will be showcased by the top technology corporations in the United States.

Software, hardware, imaging solutions, automation systems, e-commerce, Internet, networks, telecom and enterprise solutions are just a few of the corporate solutions that will be showcased at this two-day event.

This year’s show will also include the first-annual CIO Summit. WorldCom vice president Glen Hanson will keynote this summit and Sen. Terry C. Burton (D-Newton) will provide the luncheon address. Microsoft Corporation will also offer a Next Generation Windows Services presentation.

Industry giants like Cisco, Sun, Cognos, Sprint, Bellsouth, 3COM, Novell and Nortel are just a few of the technical corporations that will be readily available to answer questions and give insight to the business executives at this years event. In addition many manufacturers team up with the local corporations that support their platforms making this the one event that can offer end-to-end solutions.

Free seminars including Wireless Technologies, e-Business Directions, Network Management, Web Solutions, Voice Over Data, Web Development-Beyond the Basics, Knowledge Management and Successful IT Project Management are just a few of the topics covered.
