HATTIESBURG — The Great Pine Belt Business & Industry Exposition will be held Aug. 9-10, 2001. A regional business-to-business and business-to-consumer trade show in its 11th year, it will be held in the Hattiesburg Lake Terrace Convention Center at the intersection of Interstate 59 and U.S. 49 for the first time.
More than 100 businesses and industries are expected to be in attendance offering demonstrations, complimentary samples and first-hand information about their products and services. The event is put on by the Area Development Partnership, a chamber of commerce and economic development organization serving both Lamar and Forrest counties.
Exhibitor set-up begins at 8 a.m. on Aug. 9 and runs through 4 p.m. From 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m., the Pine Belt Expo will offer “Taste of the Pine Belt,” an after-hours networking event featuring food from local restaurants. The event is open to exhibitors only from 5 p.m.-5:30 p.m., then to ADP members and invited guests from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
The exhibition floor will open to the public at 10 a.m. on Aug. 10, and close at 4 p.m. Tickets for attendees are $3 for adults and $1 for children 10 and under.
Booth fees are $400 for ADP members and $500 for non-members. Additional booths are $375 for ADP members and $475 for others.
