Greg Hawkins has been named dean of student life at Belhaven College. Hawkins graduated magna cum laude from Belhaven College in 2005 as a biblical studies major, and he is pursuing a master of arts in higher education from Geneva College. He has been the men’s resident director since his return to Belhaven in 2006, and his promotion to dean of student life follows former dean Brent Kooi’s departure for missionary work in Japan.
As dean of student life, Hawkins will work to ensure that the college’s mission is promoted through partnering with faculty, staff and students in the common goal of developing mature and discerning men and women who seek to impact the world through service to Christ and others.
