Marathon Makeover participants have been raising money for wish granting since April of this year. Approximately 1,200 participants from 12 states are expected to participate in this year’s event.

In order to assist the Mississippi Chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation reach all of the children on their waiting list this year, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America has offered a challenge grant via its Wish Fulfillment Fund. Every dollar raised from new sources from now until July 1 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000.
