OCEAN SPRINGS — Singing River Health System is expanding its services by adding the SpyGlass Direct Visualization System at Ocean Springs Hospital (OSH). According to Singing River, it will be the only health system in the state to offer the system.
Dr. John McKee, gastroenterologist, and his therapeutic endoscopy team at OSH use SpyGlass System to diagnose and treat diseases of the bile ducts.
McKee received training on the SpyGlass procedure from the manufacturer, Boston Scientific, at Harvard Medical School. He has also taught other gastroenterologists how to use SpyGlass.
“The only way to move a program forward to this level of endoscopy is to have a commitment to being world class,” McKee said. “The gastroenterologists of OSH are committed to the highest level of patient care.”
