Ardelean will be inducted into the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers at a ceremony to be held in Washington D.C., Nov. 7, 2009. Election as a Fellow is the highest recognition of sustained outstanding performance in the profession, exemplifying integrity, dedication and excellence. With the induction of Ardelean, Butler Snow now has two Fellows in the College. Ardelean is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, has been named by Chambers USA as one of America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in Labor and Employment and is one of the 50 Leading Business Women by the Mississippi Business Journal in 2009. Ardelean is currently serving as national co-chair of the American Bar Association’s Employment Rights and Responsibilities Committee. She is a Fellow of the Young Lawyers Division of the Mississippi Bar and received the Mississippi Bar Young Lawyers Division President’s Award for Public Service. She received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Mississippi and her B.S.B.A in accounting from Mississippi College. Ardelean has also served on the Editorial Board of the Mississippi Law Journal.
