Dr. William Jackson of Corinth is serving his second term as chairman of the Information & Quality Healthcare (IQH) 15-member board of directors. Dr. Melessa Phillips of Madison and Kathy Fender of Lucedale were recently elected to three-year terms on the board. IQH members from throughout the state elect board members for the private, non-profit corporation that serves as the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO).
They join board members Dr. Lee Greer of Tupelo, vice-chairman; Dr. Peggy Davis of Jackson, treasurer; Dr. Charles Brock of Cleveland; Mary Curtis of Prentiss; Dr. Rodney Frothingham of Ruleville; Ricki Garrett of Madison; Dr. John Hassell of Laurel; Walter Howell of Clinton; Bill Oliver of Hattiesburg; Robert Pugh of Jackson; Billy Sims of Jackson; and Lex Taylor of Louisville.
Dr. Sidney Bondurant of Grenada and Michael Carney of Jackson recently completed terms on the board.
