Marchand to lead healthcare reform summit

GULFPORT — A Health Care Reform Summit featuring Memorial Hospital at Gulfport president and CEO Gary Marchand will be held at the Knight Nonprofit Center on 11975 Seaway Road in Gulfport Sept. 3 beginning at 8 a.m.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce CEO Kimberly Nastasi said Marchand’s presentation would be informative and objective.

“The Chamber is not taking any particular stance on health care reform,” Nastasi said. “Our goal is to offer an unbiased presentation complimentary to individuals who wish to learn more about this significant issue from an experienced health care executive.”
