Millsaps College in Jackson has added eight new faculty members.

Richard Boada has joined as a teaching fellow in rhetorical studies and writing center administration. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Bellarmine University, a master’s degree from the University of Louisville and a doctorate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Curtis D. Coats has joined as assistant professor of communications. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas and master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Colorado-Boulder.

Kathryn S. Hahn has joined as assistant professor of psychology. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Arkansas.

Steve B. Kistulentz has joined as assistant professor of English. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary, a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, a master’s of fine arts degree from the University of Iowa and a doctorate degree from Florida State University.

Jessica A. Piekielek has joined as a post-doctoral fellow in environmental anthropology. She holds an international baccalaureate degree from United World College of the American West, a bachelor’s degree from Guilford College and master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Arizona.

J. Marc Quattlebaum has joined as a visiting professor of theatre. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Newberry College and a master’s of fine arts degree from Wayne State University.

Abigail L. Susik has joined as a teaching fellow in art. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Barnard College as well as master’s and doctorate degrees in art history from Columbia University.

Cory G. Toyota has joined as a visiting assistant professor of organic chemistry. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College and a doctorate degree from the University of Florida.
