Wesley going smoke-free

HATTIESBURG — Wesley Medical Center will become a tobacco-free facility beginning Sept. 1. This new policy will be implemented at the hospital’s primary Hardy Street campus as well as at each of its off-site clinics located throughout the community.

“Our hospital is concerned about the health and well-being of everyone who visits and is employed on our campus,” says Wesley CEO Ron Seal. “We are committed to providing a healthy environment, and this policy puts us one step closer to realizing our full potential.”

This policy will apply to employees, medical staff, patients and visitors.
