JACKSON — Orthopedic services including joint replacements and spine surgery services at River Oaks Hospital have once again been ranked among the top 5 percent in the nation and the best in Mississippi by a new study released by HealthGrades, the healthcare ratings organization.
The HealthGrades study evaluates objective patient outcomes in the nation’s 5,000 hospitals.
River Oaks was also rated five-star for total knee replacement, total hip replacement, back and neck surgery without spinal fusion and spinal fusion surgeries. According to River Oaks, it is the only hospital in Mississippi to be a repeat-recipient of HealthGrades Specialty Excellence Awards for spine surgery, joint replacement and orthopedic surgery.
Dennis R. “Denny” Bruns, FACHE, president and CEO of River Oaks said, “Our hospital strives to provide quality healthcare to the patients we serve everyday. We have a well-balanced combination of highly-regarded physicians, dedicated staff members and a longstanding reputation for delivering medical care in a personalized, patient-focused environment.”
