William Wright of the Wright Law Firm, P.A., has been inducted into the American College of Family Trial Lawyers. A native of Jackson, Wright received a BBA in finance and an MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi. He earned his law degree from the University of Mississippi.
A former U.S. Army officer, Wright is listed in the “Best Lawyers in America” and in the mid-South edition of “Super Lawyers.” He is active and has held leadership positions with the Hinds Count Bar, Mississippi Bar and American Bar.
In the community, Wright is past chairman of the YMCA of Metropolitan Jackson, past chair of the Downtown YMCA, board member of the Shepherd’s Staff Counseling Center and formerly served on the boards of the Neighborhood Christian Center and Covenant Presbyterian Preschool. He is a member of the Leadership Jackson Alumni Association, USM Alumni Association, USM M-Club Alumni Association and University of Mississippi Alumni Association.
Wright and his wife, DeAnn, have two daughters, Julia, 17, and Anna, 15, and are members of First Presbyterian Church of Jackson.
