CORINTH — The City of Corinth’s sales tax revenue declined for a sixth consecutive month while the tourism tax enjoyed an increase during the latest reported month.

The latest deposit reflects sales made in November.

For the fiscal year to date, Corinth’s sales tax proceeds total $1.7 million, a 5 percent decrease from the same point a year earlier.

The Daily Corinthian reports the tourism tax generated over $78,000, a 5 percent gain in year-to-year comparisons.
