Watkins Ludlam Winter & Stennis is pleased to announce the election of four shareholders to the firm — J. Andrew (Andy) Gipson, April D. Reeves and Christopher R. Shaw from the firm’s Jackson office and S. Trent Favre from the Gulfport office. Gipson, Reeves and Shaw were promoted from associate to shareholder and Favre was promoted from counsel to shareholder.
Gipson focuses his business practice in the areas of securities, communications and agriculture law and was listed as a Rising Star in the 2009 edition of Mid-South Super Lawyers. He is a resident of Simpson County and serves as state representative for District 77 (Simpson, Smith and Rankin Counties). He is a summa cum laude graduate of the Mississippi College School of Law.
Reeves focuses her practice on banking and antitrust litigation as well as business torts and commercial litigation. A native of Hartselle, Ala., she is a graduate of Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and a resident of Hinds County.
Shaw focuses his practice on insurance defense, commercial litigation and First Amendment law. Shaw is a cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law and a resident of Madison County.
Favre focuses his practice on commercial litigation, insurance defense and healthcare law. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law and a resident of Kiln.
