The Jackson office of Carr, Riggs & Ingram (CRI) announces the addition of several key staff members. Jonathon Barnett, Brad Earwood and Tyler Holmes join CRI’s team as staff accountants while Christopher Burnham accepted an internship position.
Barnett completed both a bachelor of accountancy and bachelor of business administration at Mississippi State University and has already passed the CPA exam. His previous work experience includes four years as an intelligence specialist for the United States Navy, and he is currently assisting the insurance audit team.
Earwood, who recently completed both a masters of accountancy and bachelor of accountancy at the University of Mississippi, offers CRI previous accounting experience from his work as an intern for an international accounting firm in Dallas. He is presently a member of the construction industry audit team.
Holmes’ Mississippi State University education includes both a Master of Taxation and Bachelor of Accountancy. He previously worked locally in the technology industry both implementing and integrating new software. Holmes has been completing both corporate and individual tax work.
Burnham is a fourth year accounting major at Mississippi College. He began his accounting experience with CRI as a runner and is now completing an internship while working on audit teams for large private industries.
Barnett, Earwood and Holmes are currently working full-time at CRI’s local office in Ridgeland while Burnham is scheduled to complete his internship next month.
