Beth Grubbs has been promoted to vice president, CRE risk management, at BancorpSouth’s Tupelo location.  She has over 15 years experience in banking and has served as assistant vice president and credit analyst before this promotion.

Grubbs holds a bachelor’s degree in banking and finance from the University of Mississippi in Oxford. She and her husband, Mark, have two children.

In a separate item, Barbara R. Hoard has been promoted to first vice president, lending, at BancorpSouth’s Tupelo location.  Hoard began her career with the bank as a teller and has over 40 years experience with BancorpSouth.  Originally from Jacinto, Miss., she has taken several courses in banking, finance and insurance from the University of Mississippi. Hoard was instrumental in launching Tupelo’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program and works with it each year, as well as mentoring students at Tupelo High School.

She is also a long-time member of the Tupelo Ladies Civitan Club. Hoard is married to Marvin Hoard of Tupelo and they have been members of West Jackson Baptist Church for over 40 years. They have two children and two grand children.
