Guardian Fiberglass expanding plant

OLIVE BRANCH — Guardian Fiberglass Inc. is expanding operations at its facility in Olive Branch to accommodate an increase in production.

Plant manager Jeff Whitaker says the $9.5-million expansion will create 30 new jobs at the plant, which produces white and yellow loosefill and batt fiberglass insulation for residential and commercial construction industries.

Gray Swoope, executive director of the Mississippi Development Authority, says the company’s decision to expand demonstrates its commitment to doing business in the state.
