PSC fines telemarketer for No-Call violation

JACKSON — Public Service Commission (PSC) chairman Brandon Presley (D-Nettleton) announced that the PSC has fined a New Jersey telemarketer $15,000 for violations of the Mississippi No-Call law.

Presley said CDG Management, LLC, doing business as Civic Development Group, violated the No-Call law by contacting Mississippians who had placed their home phone number on the No-Call list. Company representatives failed to respond to the PSC’s complaint.

Presley noted that the company has is registered with the PSC and has provided a $50,000 surety bond. The $15,000 in fines will be deducted from the bond.
