Health Department awards CONs for three projects
AROUND MISSISSIPPI — The Mississippi Department of Health has issued certificates of need (CONs) for three projects.
The projects are:
• Covington County Hospital and Nursing Home (d/b/a Arrington Living Center) in Collins — for the cost overrun to CON #R-0556-A for the construction/establishment of a 60-bed skilled nursing facility. The additional capital expenditure is $170,000 , and the total capital expenditure is approximately $2.53 million.
• Windham House of Hattiesburg Inc. (d/b/a Windham House of Hattiesburg ) — for the relocation of 30 nursing home beds from Miramar Lodge Nursing Home Harrison County to Windham House in Lamar County. The capital expenditure is $250,020.
• Harrison County Properties, LLC (d/b/a Gulfport Care Center Gulfport — for the construction of a replacement facility for 90 nursing home beds in Harrison County. The proposed facility will house beds previously operated by Miramar Lodge Nursing Home. The capital expenditure is approximately $7.18 million.
