AROUND MISSISSIPPI — State officials have set timelines for the presidential searches at three state universities.
Alcorn State and Jackson State universities should have a preferred candidate later this year, according to a news release by the state College Board. Mississippi University for Women’s search will commence in early 2011.
Alcorn will hold a session with constituent groups on Aug. 31 and Jackson State’s will be Sept. 2.
