JACKSON — The Mississippi Department of Employment Security’s (MDES’) online job search will be unavailable until Monday while the agency upgrades its computer applications.
With the current design, MDES employees have had to enter information into as many as three computer systems to fully assist customers. The upgrade will consolidate the process into one, web-based system, and help the MDES assist its customers more quickly.
The service won’t be available again until 8 a.m. Oct. 4.
