AGT wins multiple contracts from Army

CHOCTAW — Applied Geo Technologies Inc. (AGT) has received multiple awards from the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive Armaments Command (TACOM) to supply cable assemblies and wiring harnesses for military fighting vehicles and mobile kitchens.

The largest award is for wiring harnesses for Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles.

Another award is for wiring harnesses for the Stryker family of armored assault vehicles, used by U.S. Army Stryker Brigade Combat Teams.

The remaining award is for wiring harnesses for mobile kitchens used to feed troops.

The awards, all from the Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center at Rock Island Arsenal, Ill., total just over $2.1 million.

AGT also manufactures for TACOM the Multi-Function Agile Remote Control Robot (MARCbot) used for IED detection and surveillance, and 210,000-gallon flexible fuel storage bladders.
