Required scores for Miss. teacher's license some of lowest in US

For the Praxis I in math and the portion of the Praxis II which deals with the principles of learning and teaching, Mississippi has the lowest score requirements in the country among the 40 states which use the Praxis to screen teachers applying for licenses.

For the Praxis I for reading, Mississippi ties with Nebraska for the lowest required score.

For the Praxis I in writing, Mississippi is on par with nine other states.
