BKD accountants in the news

Peder Johnson, managing partner of BKD, LLP’s Jackson and Oxford offices, is pleased to announce the promotion of six CPAs to senior accountants: Matthew Bailey; Brittany Chamblee; Mary Overstreet; Kelvin Monroe; Dustin Taylor; and. Richard Woodruff. Bailey provides auditing services for a variety of clients in the Jackson office. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of accountancy in 2006 and a master of accountancy in 2007.

Chamblee provides taxation services in the Jackson office. She is a 2008 graduate of Mississippi College with a bachelor of science in business administration. Chamblee is very heavily involved in the practice’s tax-exempt entities, especially in the area of healthcare and education.

Overstreet provides taxation services for a variety of clients in the Jackson office. She graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of accountancy in 2007.

Monroe provides auditing services in the Jackson office. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor of business administration in 2005 and received his MBA in 2006. In addition to being a certified public accountant, he is also a certified internal auditor.

Taylor provides taxation services for variety of businesses and individuals in the Jackson office. He is a 2008 graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor of business administration in banking and finance and a bachelor of accountancy.

Woodruff provides taxation services in the BKD Financial Services practice in the Jackson office. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of science in accounting in 2007 and master in taxation in 2008.

Johnson also announced the recent CPA certifications of Megan Hughes, Mary Overstreet, Caitie Shehan and Dustin Taylor. Hughes provides taxation services in the Jackson office. She graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of science in accountancy in 2008 and a master of taxation in 2009.

Overstreet provides taxation services for a variety of clients in the Jackson office. She graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of accountancy in 2007.

Shehan provides auditing services in the BKD Financial Services practice in the Jackson office. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor of science in business administration in 2008 and a master of professional accountancy in 2009.
