Smith wins Eagle Award

Natalie Moses Smith

Jackson resident Natalie Moses Smith has been awarded the 2010 Hearst Television Eagle Award for sales excellence. The Eagle Award goes to individuals who have consistently demonstrated the highest caliber of sales excellence in overall revenue generating performance, new business development and special promotion selling effectiveness.

An account executive for 16WAPT and wapt.com since 2005, this is the second prestigious honor Smith has received this year. She was recently named one of Mississippi’s 50 Leading Business Women by the Mississippi Business Journal.

Smith graduated from Jackson Preparatory School and went on the study marketing at Mississippi State University where she earned a bachelors of business administration degree. She began her television advertising career in 1992 with Lovecomm Ad Sales, which later became Comcast Spotlight.

Smith and her husband, Chuck, are active members of Christ United Methodist Church. She is the mother of Avery and Denton. She volunteers with many organizations throughout the metro area and serves on the board of the Eastover Neighborhood Association.
