BILOXI — The Biloxi City Council will meet in special session tomorrow for another look at the budget and to decide on funding for Cruisin’ the Coast, the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum and the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art.
The Sun Herald reports the city’s contribution to agencies still totals $1.8 million a year.
Last week representatives of the Ohr Museum asked for operating funds to pay insurance, utilities and maintenance.
Woody Bailey, executive director of Cruisin’ the Coast, asked the council to restore the $20,000 contribution for the event that was cut last year when BP gave a large contribution for advertising.
The administration and council are at odds over how much is owed to the Seafood Museum.
