SentryNet moving headquarters out of state

GREENVILLE — SentryNet Inc., a business founded in Greenville in 1987, will move its operations to Memphis by December 2012.
Michael Joseph, vice president of SentryNet operations, tells the Delta Democrat Times the move to Memphis is because of the company’s desire to expand.
Joseph says local operations will end April 1.
The company began in Greenville as Central Monitoring Service. The company monitors alarms for businesses and homes and now has more than 90,000 accounts.
Joseph says SentryNet employs 70 people in Greenville and plans to hire 115 people when it moves to Memphis.
Officials say Greenville employees can move to Memphis and keep their jobs. Others will receive severance packages.
