Metropolitan Bank has officially opened its new Mississippi headquarters in Ridgeland at 1069 Highland Colony Parkway in The Township at Colony Park.
The 15,500-square-foot headquarters is home to Metropolitan’s executive offices, including commercial and personal banking, and mortgage lending. The new office employs 19 associates, which was the driving force of bank leadership’s decision to move into an expanded space.
“Metropolitan has grown at a consistent, steady pace, and we have added a number of talented associates since moving into our original Ridgeland office,” said Curt Gabardi, Metropolitan president & CEO. “We simply needed more space to efficiently house all of our talent, and we were able to design this new building to perfectly fit our needs.”
A few of those needs include a two-lane drive-through, drive-up and walk-up ATMs, and multiple LifeSize video conferencing connection points (now in all Metropolitan offices). Like every Metropolitan office, the client interface is not tellers and teller counters, but rather client service advisers at desks to provide clients with a more consultative and personal experience.
The exterior of the building was designed by the late Michael Barranco and Dale Partners Architects. Canizaro Cawthon Davis designed the building’s interior, and Harrell Contracting Group oversaw the construction.
Metropolitan will host an open house for the new office from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 17. Clients, friends and neighbors are invited to tour the new space and meet Metropolitan associates.
Metropolitan Bank, the banking subsidiary of Metropolitan BancGroup, Inc., is a $610 million bank co-headquartered in Memphis, and Ridgeland
