Mississippi House Speaker Philip Gunn will travel the state next week for a series of town hall-style meetings to gather comments and suggestions in preparation for the 2013 legislative session.
The meetings will take place the week of Oct. 8, and each meeting will last for an hour and 15 minutes. Here’s the schedule:
Monday, Oct. 8, 9 a.m. – Jackson, Capitol, Room 113; 1 p.m. – Greenwood, Downtown, City Council Room; 4:30 p.m. – Hernando, City Courtroom.
Tuesday, Oct. 9, 9 a.m. – Tupelo, City Hall, City Council Chambers; 1:30 p.m. – Columbus, City Hall ; 5 p.m. Meridian, City Hall, Third Floor.
Thursday, Oct. 11, 9 a.m. – Hattiesburg, Cultural Center on Main Street;1:30 p.m. – Biloxi, City Hall.
Friday, Oct. 12, 10 a.m. – Brookhaven, State Bank and Trust, State Room.
