Braves offering ballpark job opportunities

If you’re fond of spending time at the ballpark, the Mississippi Braves are offering you a chance to do just that – and make money while you’re at it.

The Jackson-based double A farm club for the Atlanta Braves is looking to fill a part-time roster for the 2013 season that includes everything from mascot to Fun Zone attendants.

“We are looking for energetic, hard working people, with outgoing personalities and who know how to smile to add to our part-time staff,” The Mississippi Braves said in a press release.

Stop by the front office at Trustmark Park to fill out an application from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. For questions or inquiries, call at 888-BRAVES4 or 601-932-8788.

  1. I work part time in Morton, Ms as an Radiology Technologist. Work on Wed. nights and one weekend a month. I played baseball at Delta State for a year. I very hospital able and feel I would bring a very positive vibe to the ball park. I would really like the opportunity to speak with somebody about a position for The MS Braves. I would love to be a hostess or beer ID vender. What every the team needs.

  2. I am a senior at Pelahatchie High School this year and I have play baseball ever since I can remember and I would love to have the chance to be a bat boy for the team. And not only that but I will be attending MSU in the fall so I wanna try to make some money before than. If that’s not possible ill take any other job that needs to be filled.
