Businesses that want to do business with Stennis Space Center can connect with federal and state agencies, contractors and businesses at the rocket engine testing center during Stennis Industry Days Feb. 27-28 at Biloxi’s IP Casino-Resort-Spa at 850 Bayview Ave.
Organizers say the event brings together resources to help facilitate partnerships. The goal is to create an atmosphere of collaboration and support for each participant who attends or showcases a business, organizers say.
Stennis Industry Days will also promote awareness of the Stennis Business Consortium (SBC), update the business community on activities at Stennis Space Center, and give businesses networking opportunities.
Beginning this year, at a special awards ceremony, the Stennis Business Consortium (SBC) will announce the SBC Team-member Achievement Recognition (STAR) Award recipients. This award will be given annually to recognize those organizations in the Gulf South region (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and the panhandle of Florida) supporting the SBC mission and serve as examples in their respective categories.
As an added benefit, conference attendees can participate in a free pre-event tour of Stennis Space Center on Feb. 27.
Exhibits, networking, informative speakers and business match making opportunities are included in both day’s activities.
The Annual Rotary Club of Stennis Charity Golf Tournament will be held March 1 at the Bridges Golf Club, Bay St. Louis. Separate registration is required.
