Hinds, MUW form culinary arts partnership

pieHinds Community College and Mississippi University for Women have revealed details of a new agreement for students studying the culinary arts in the Jackson area.

The so-called “2 Plus 2″ agreement between HCC and MUW will allow culinary arts students to finish their bachelor’s degrees at the Hinds Jackson campus’ Academic/Technical Center.

A signing ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 27 in Room 133-135, Bivins Building at Jackson Campus-Academic/Technical Center on Sunset Drive in Jackson.

Speakers will include Hinds president Dr. Clyde Muse, MUW president Dr. Jim Borsig and Erich Ogle, director of MUW’s Culinary Arts Institute.
