Planters promotes workers

Planters Bank has made several promotions. Kerry Potter has been promoted to branch officer for the Greenville office. She is a native of Joplin, Mo., and attended Missouri Southern State College. Potter has worked for Planters Bank for eight years and has a total of 13 years in banking. She is active in Delta Center Stage and has performed in many of their productions. She is married to Mike Potter, and they are the parents of six children.

Peter Fisher was promoted to assistant vice president of the Greenville office. He is a native of Rolling Fork, and graduated from Mississippi State University in 2007 and received his master’s degree from MSU in 2008. He recently passed the CPA exam and graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Banking. He is a volunteer for the Habitat for Humanity and the United Way of Washington County, and is a member of the Rotary Club of Greenville, WWISCAA and the MSU Alumni Chapter. He is married to the former Leslie Little of Corinth.

Jamie Murrell was promoted to assistant vice president/marketing officer. Murrell has worked for Planters Bank for six years. She is a native of West Point, and received her B. S. degree from Mississippi State University. She is a graduate of the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and Management. Murrell is past president of the Delta Children’s Museum, a life member of the Greenville Junior Auxiliary and serves on the board of the Indianola Rotary Club and the Greenville Arts Council. She is serving as the chairperson for the MBA’s Communication Council, vice president of communications for the United Way of Washington County and public relations chairperson for Delta Cotton Belles. She is married to Carter Murrell, and they have two children, Keeton and Caroline.

Jessica Milam was promoted to assistant vice president/human resources officer. She has seven years of banking experience and has worked for Planters for five years. Milam is a native of Huntsville, Ala., and is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she received a B.B.A. in business management. She is treasurer of the Junior Auxiliary of Greenville, serves as co-chair of special events for the Delta Cotton Belles and president of the Delta Human Resource Management Association. She is married to John Milam, and they have one son, Walt.

Pattie Holeman has been elevated to assistant vice president. She is a native of Sunflower, and is currently attending Mississippi Delta Community College. Holeman has worked with Planters Bank for 22 years. She is a member of Sunflower Community Out Reach and serves as alderwoman for the town of Sunflower. She is married to Albert Ray Holeman.

Alicia Chandler is now a loan officer for the Ruleville office. Chandler has worked for Planters Bank for 10 years and is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. She is married to Wesley Chandler, and they have one son, Brant.

Chris West was promoted to vice president for the Ruleville office. West is a native of Ruleville and attended MDCC and Delta State University. She is also a graduate from the Southeastern School of Consumer Credit at Vanderbilt University. She has been employed with Planters Bank for 25 years. Throughout her career, West has served in many different volunteer roles for North Sunflower Academy and Cleveland High School. West is married to Todd West, and they have two children and two grandchildren.
