Taylorsville's Billy Hamilton on Reds' roster for wild card game

Louisville Bats 2013  Outfield Billy HamiltonBase-stealing sensation Billy Hamilton, the former Taylorsville High star who has stolen the hearts of Cincinnati Reds fans since his call-up from the minors on Sept. 2, will be on the 25-man roster tonight when the Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates meet in National League Playoff Wild Card Game.

Hamilton, a centerfielder, stole 13 bases in 14 attempts after being called. He will most likely be used as a pinch-runner if he plays in tonight’s winner-take-all game, which begins tonight at 7 in Pittsburgh. The game will be televised by TBS.
