Brandon recruiting help to spur development

Traveling along Highway 80, the city of Brandon’s lack of downtown development is apparent. Now, city leaders are looking for change.

The city is seeking consultants to work in city planning and economic development.

The Clarion-Ledger reports the consultant’s work would focus on downtown planning, landscape architecture, urban design, historic preservation, infrastructure, transportation, market analysis and involving the public in decision-making.
