NORTH MISSISSIPPI — Lockheed Martin is partnering with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to administer commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs aimed at keeping energy costs low for consumers across the Southeast.
Lockheed Martin will supply program management, engineering and operations services to TVA and local power companies to deliver energy more efficiently.
“Lockheed Martin’s engineering, systems integration and smart energy management capabilities will help TVA provide low-cost, cleaner energy,” said Roger Flanagan, director of Energy Services in Lockheed Martin’s Information Systems & Global Solutions Civil business. “We will manage incentive programs to help these local power companies capture cost savings by increasing energy efficiency in their operations.”
Local power companies in seven states (Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi) deliver these energy efficiency programs to their commercial and industrial consumers. Through a local office in Nashville, Lockheed Martin will administer these programs; the company will also provide energy project tracking expertise to increase TVA’s situational awareness.
