It seems lately that if one hears of an audit, somebody is in trouble for misappropriating funds or shady accounting. But one county has bucked that trend.

WCBI-TV reports that state Auditor Stacey Pickering sent a certificate of achievement to county officials because no negative findings, reports or recommendations were included in its most recent audit.
Supervisors praised County Administrator Ralph Billingsley, CFO Dave Basinger and their staffs for the achievement.
