A trio of new restaurants earned the Mississippi State Department of Health’s approval to open recently.
Frappe Fruit at 11382 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport offers a variety of Island Oasis Smoothies in flavors such as banana nut bread, peanut butter cookie, apple pie and peach mango. Carla Smith is the owner.
Port in a Storm at 234 Davis Ave. in Pass Christian is owned by John Ketchum. The menu includes chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, hamburgers, grilled or fried chicken sandwiches, pork loin sandwiches, reuben, grilled chicken salad and fresh-cut potato fries.
Mindy’s Café at 126 Blaize Ave. in Bay St. Louis serves breakfast, hot sandwiches, salads, soup and desserts. Mindy Feverston the owner.
