Nissan announces leadership changes

Three changes at the Canton plant were among a number of leadership changes Nissan announced today within its North and Latin America operations.

— Masaaki Imai, currently managing Deputy General Manager, Trim & Chassis Engineering, Nissan Motor Company, is named senior director, Manufacturing, with responsibility for New Model and Vehicle Production Engineering at the Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant

— Tom Suter, currently senior manager, Human Resources, Nissan Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant and Decherd Powertrain Assembly Plant, is promoted to director, Human Resources, Nissan Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant.

— Jeffrey Webster, currently director, Human Resources, Nissan Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant, is named director, Americas Diversity Office, North American region.

The changes are effective April 1.
