Ask Brandon Meeks about his role model and he’ll answer with his father, Gary Meeks. Living in Arizona, the Meeks family moved to Mississippi so that Brandon and his brother could “become more than a number.”

Today, Meeks is the owner and principal agent of the Meeks Agency, a full-service Shelter Insurance franchise that provides insurance to over 700 families in the metro Jackson region.

Meeks also is the owner of WAM Properties, a business that focuses solely on rehabbing foreclosed houses.

Actively involved in Christ United Methodist Church, Meeks is chairman of the board of trustees, and serves as youth discipleship group leader.

Additionally, he is a member of Business 2 Business of Jackson and a board member of Young Business Leaders of Jackson.

In his leisure time, Meeks enjoys hunting, salt water fishing and coaching his son’s youth league baseball team.
