Firm starts work on expansion, renovation of orthopaedic clinic

ConstructionCOLUMBUS — Brasfield & Gorrie has begun an expansion and renovation project at Columbus Orthopaedic Clinic in Columbus.

This design-build project includes an 8,000-square-foot addition to the existing facility, which was originally built by Birmingham, Alabama-based Brasfield & Gorrie in 2007. The expansion will add new exam rooms, a fitness center and a HydroWorx therapeutic pool.

Serving as general contractor, Brasfield & Gorrie is teaming with architect Dean and Dean/Associates of Jackson on this project, which will be completed in 2015.

Brasfield & Gorrie also is constructing a number of other projects in Mississippi, including Highlands Presbyterian Church in Ridgeland and Baptist Medical Center-Leake in Carthage, among others.
