katespadeTwo new businesses are preparing to open their first Mississippi locations in Highland Village, just as the holiday season begins.

Kate spade new york plans its grand opening for Friday, and lululemon athletica follows a week later with its opening Nov. 14. Both stores are in Highland Village’s North Courtyard near Maison Weiss.

Lululemon athletica was founded in 1998 in Vancouver, B.C., and has continued to grow. The brand’s technical yoga and running clothes are now available worldwide. Lululemon also hosts in-store events ranging from self-defense to goal-setting workshops to complimentary yoga.
